The Crosswalk

This is the crosswalk at Greenwood and Archer where the street performance for Colorline will happen. Imagine tracings and rollers; imagine white paint and steppers. #colorlinetulsa #waittillyouseeusperform

On my WishList.

“Ed Pavlic’s Visiting Hours at the Color Line, a 2012 National Poetry Series winner, attempts to complicate this black-and-white, straight-line feature of our collective imagination, and to map its nonlinear, deeply colored timbres and hues.”

Black Wall Street

Tulsa, Oklahoma was home to the 1921 Race Riot that decimated Greenwood and Black Wall Street. The repercussions of that event are still evident today and clearly visible in the racial and economic segregation of the city. But we humans often ignore what is right under our noses. Join me and Mia Wright, Anthony Gaba-DeLaCroix and Rodney Clark as we examine the racial segregation and make the invisible visible through our project Colorline.
